It is the biggest and most well-known international organization in the world. The United Nations was created for the purpose of achieving certain goals and objectives; one of the goals of the United Nations was to ensure that there is law and order in the world by providing all its member countries with international law, which implies that conflicting member countries will be able to be heard. THE 17 TARGETS. Eliminate poverty in all its manifestations worldwide. The eradication of hunger, the achievement of food security and better nutrition, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture are essential to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. Ensure and promote the health and well-being of all people of all ages. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and encourage chances for lifelong learning for everyone
